The Administrative System Analyst, working with the Software Services Support team, is primarily responsible for working with organizational units of the College to identify and resolve data problems, and ensuring that the ERP and associated systems are being upgraded and utilized effectively to support business rules and processes.
Primary Job Duties
Acts as primary ERP system manager, authorizing user accounts, managing security, transferring files, etc.
Collaborate with organizational units to develop effective systems use in relation to business rules and processes.
Work with the Software Services Support team and vendors to maintain, upgrade, or enhance software programs, primarily for the college’s ERP and associated systems.
Use SQL to write reports, run update and insert scripts, and create views.
Participates with change management processes, change advisory and quality assurance procedures.
Assist with the interface and integration of various software applications and information systems.
Coordinates training and administrative systems support to users as needed and appropriate.
Writes, upgrades, and distributes documentation as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. In addition we require that the individual select:
demonstrate an understanding of general programming techniques.
have the ability to facilitate problem-solving among administrative groups with varying needs and priorities and to communicate well with administrative users and technical staff
be able to work with a range of technical staff to develop joint solutions including the ability to successfully participate in teams.
posses a strong functional knowledge of relational databases. Specifically, Microsoft SQL
In addition, preference will be given to candidates with three years or more of related experience as well as:
Familiarity with higher education processes, procedures, and software systems especially Jenzabar EX, JICS, or PowerFAIDS.
Knowledge of contemporary concepts and practices in the information systems operation of an institution of higher education.
Experience with data reporting tools.
Knowledge of accounting principles and systems.
Experience with .NET framework and C#, C++, or Java
