Provide system and end-user support for Office 365 products through strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication skills with impressive customer service. Responsible for resolving issues and requests for Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, as well as other Office 365 tools, including but not limited to SharePoint, One Drive, and Skype for Business.
Provide operational support for Active Directory, Federation Services. Develop and implement automated procedures to streamline and simplify the process of managing the life cycle of digital identities. Identify integration points with technologies for security and identity management such as Active Directory and controls for role-based access and enterprise applications. Ensures synchronization of passwords across various directories and systems.
Account provisioning and deprovisioning. Granting network folder access and ERP related access. Group Policy Management (GPO).
Work with development teams, systems application administrators, information architects, and business unit stakeholders to determine needs and functional specifications. Conducts assessments and makes recommendations for improvements. Serves on related project teams. Communicates upcoming changes to Office 365 and AD environments.
Produce and maintain systems documentation. Responsible for the preparation and modification of technical and capacity documentation.
Performs disaster recovery procedures, ensures all supported systems are part of the enterprise backup system, and participates in development of policies and procedures.
Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Researches and informs senior level management of upcoming industry changes and trends and relevant opportunities for the College. Participates in product evaluation.
A high school diploma and work experience in the administration of Microsoft Office 365 and digital identity and access management in an enterprise environment. An associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert knowledge of Office 365 in an enterprise environment.
Demonstrable knowledge of Exchange and Microsoft platform products, including Windows 2008/2012 operating systems, Active Directory and Federated Identity, and advanced knowledge of Azure AD.
Knowledge of Federation Services and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Proficient with PowerShell and other scripting skills used to automate messaging processes and reporting.
Must have proficient project management skills. Ability to plan, organize and follow-through multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient written and oral communications skills.
Ability to work well with others.
