The Content Specialist works as part of Carleton’s Science Education Resource Center (SERC) team to develop new and improve existing websites, support professional development programming, maintain SERC collections, and assist in education research and evaluation projects
The Contact Specialist will work independently and with collaborators on web authoring and professional development projects covering topics within the geosciences, STEM, and education. This position will support face-to-face and virtual workshops and meetings, particularly the development of workshop websites, use of the website during the workshop, and collection of materials at the workshop for the website.
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, regular, 12-month position.

The successful candidate must possess a Masters’ Degree in science, sustainability, education, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to independently complete projects on schedule and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualities include experience working with quantitative data and visualization techniques to display information. Some teaching experience.
