Learning is a critical, life-long endeavor for medical students and doctors. Our customers must learn a massive amount of information in a few short years, and how well they demonstrate what they have learned has a major impact on their career options and choice of specialty. And just when school is done, the learning continues so they can provide the best care for their patients.
At ScholarRx, we create market-leading products that help medical students and doctors learn and enter the medical career of their choice.
A major initiative of our company is to better support the universities our student customers attend.
In this newly added role, you’ll help build integrations between our systems and client university’s learning management and other systems, help our data science and engineering teams consume university data, build custom APIs universities will use for analysis, and build reporting and analysis tools within our core products that will be used by client university’s faculty and administrators.
This 100%-remote role requires a full-stack developer who loves solving a variety of problems and will be happy juggling several small-to-mid-sized projects simultaneously. You’ll work mostly in .Net, .Net Core, EF Core and Bootstrap – we’re happy to help you get up to speed – but there may also be opportunities to work in Angular2, Material Design, Python, MongoDB, Neo4J, and other structured and unstructured database systems. This role will work directly with universities and we desire someone with experience working at a university or directly supporting university clients. You should also be familiar with common e-learning standards like SCORM, LTI, xAPI, and Common Cartridge.
As an organization, we value curiosity, collaboration, and good old-fashioned grit. We are a virtual company with most of our technical team based in Louisville, KY. We would prefer you to be within 100 miles of Louisville, KY, but are open to US-based candidates with extensive university, LMS, or eLearning experience who are willing to travel to Louisville a few times each year.
