Rollins College is seeking an Instructional Technologist to support the Information Technology structure within the Business and Finance Department. Our search is for a dynamic change-agent with passion and aptitude for using technology and demonstrating an understanding of its potential to reshape teaching and learning. This role will conduct research on current trends, tools and issues related to educational technology, and implement programs for faculty, staff and students that promote creative and innovative use of technologies across a full spectrum of instruction, learning and professional development. You will assist faculty in the selection of instructional strategies, development of course objectives and course content structure; develop and conduct training on the integration of social media, web tools and current technologies into the academic environment; and act as lead for training and support on Adobe Design and production applications.

Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or related field, or equivalent experience
Classroom teaching experience in the higher education environment
Proficiency in Adobe Master Collection Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience with course design and development and learning management software
Ability to integrate sound pedagogical and instructional design practices
Demonstrated knowledge of current applications of online class technology
